From the Family Farm to the Community Table
At AM-PM Farms Butchery & Market, our story is rooted in resilience, community, and an unwavering commitment to providing fresh, locally-raised food directly to your table. What began as a small family venture in December 2020 has blossomed into a dynamic farm-to-market business that embraces a farmer's market at home experience for everyone we serve.
The seeds of AM-PM Farms were sown during a time of uncertainty. When Covid hit, we had three young children (now four) and experienced the unsettling reality of bare grocery store shelves. It raised a pressing question—what if the trucks didn't make it? What if we couldn't feed our family? That pivotal moment fueled a determination to be part of the solution. Starting with just a few dozen cows, our farm rapidly grew into a thriving operation that now sustains over 500 cattle, along with chickens, pigs, goats, and turkeys.
Built on Resilience, Rooted in Community
Over the years, our farm has been the backbone of everything we do. From remaining a reliable source of fresh meat after Hurricane Helene disrupted supply chains to reopening our store just one week after a devastating fire, our dedication to local food systems has never wavered. February 2023 marked the launch of our Upstate Growers Market, which became a passion project inspired by our love of farming and the bond we've built with our incredible community.
Reflecting on this past year, we felt it was time for our name to reflect the heart of our mission. Today, Upstate Growers Market proudly becomes AM-PM Farms Butchery & Market—a name that embodies our commitment to delivering fresh, ethically-raised, high-quality food, directly from our farm to your family.
