Mali Kryski Staron’s memorable elderberry syrup spread through her community by word of mouth, she and her husband, Brandon, saw an opportunity to serve their neighbors with a locally made wellness product. As a test-at-home mom, Krystal chose her own fire and launched Mama K’s Homemade in 2018 to local farmers markets. Now recognized as the Upstate’s original elderberry concentrate and first certified SC Certified Specialist Green elderberry syrup in the region, Mama K’s handcrafts each batch from berry to bottle using premium local ingredients.
